Tasting Notes
This top of the range Rosé is named after Charles the 7th as Jean Canard, ancestor of the houses founder, then Abbot of the Saint Remy Monastery in Reims, crowned him back in1489. Very elegant red fruits and a creamy mousse means this competes well against the trendier more expensive Rosés. The blend here is of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in equal parts with reserve wines, predominantly Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims, vinified as red wines, accounting for at least 20% of the blend. Aged four years in the cellar
