Tasting Notes
The Griottes comes from old vines on the top of the Amphitheatre like hills 650 meters above the winery; here the soil is similar to Chateauneuf with large stones which act like radiators. Planted mostly with Syrah with a little Grenache, this is a stunner this year, lovely black fruits with soft tannins, reminiscent of a really good Northern Rhone but a shadow of the price.
