Tasting Notes
Vall Llach famed as a Basque protest singer in the times of Franco and lately to the outside world for his excellent Priorats coming from the high lying, slatey soils west of Barcelona. This comes from very old Carignan vines with Cabernet and Syrah and leaps out of the glass with powerful fruit but here in 2002 not the mouth puckering tannins often found in the region.
