Jayne and Raoul Beaumont bought the old run down farm, Compagnes Drift, in 1974 and set about replanting the vineyards. Today the estate is run by their son Sebastian.

The Raoul’s Blend is mostly Syrah with some Grenache, Mourvedre and Cabernet Franc. The grapes were harvested and crushed directly into concrete tanks, followed by few days cold soak. About 30 % of the grapes were fermented whole bunch to bring freshness and perfume to the wine. Pressed off and taken to barrel for maturation.
