Champagne Thiénot Brut Non-vintage

Alain Thiénot is one of the major players in Champagne owning Canard Duchene and part of Joseph Perrier, but his own estate is his pride and Joy. Alain used his experience as a Champagne broker to obtain important vineyard holdings giving the house access to top quality fruit. The house is now run by his son Stanislas aided by cellar master Nicholas Uriel this house goes from strength to strength. Typified by complexity and elegant dryness with a palate of apples, pears, vanilla and toasted brioche, with balanced acidity these wines never fail to impress and often out point the big boys in blind tastings. I cannot recommend this wine more highly. Currently from the 2018 vintage with 35% reserve wines some aged in oak giving extra depth. 35% Pinot Noir 35% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Meurnier and a dosage of 4g/l
