Château Graville-Lacoste Blanc 2020 Graves
Made from Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc this unoaked White Graves is drinking perfectly
Château Graville-Lacoste is situated in the south of the Graves, near Pujols-sur-Ciron, the river Ciron divides the Graves from Sauternes. So only a stone’s throw away from Barsac in Sauternes and shares the same stony, clay and limestone soils. The Estate is run sustainably by Hervé Dubourdieu and his two sons André and Leon; their vines here are 60% Semillon, 35% Sauvignon and 5% Muscadelle with an average age of 35 years. The wine sees no oak, to keep the freshness and minerality, fermented and aged in stainless steel for 5 months. With grapefruit and lemons to the fore with a mineral backbone and hints of melon and kiwi this is fresh and vibrant, drinking perfectly.
