Disznókö Dorgȯ Vineyard Tokaji Late Harvest 2017 500ml
A lighter, fresher more fragrant Tokaji with apricot, stone fruits, vanilla, and honey from late picked Furmint grapes from part or whole bunch selection rather than the individual grape selection of the heavier Aszu Tokaji's. Great value, lovely too!
The top Tokaji house of Disznókö make this delightfully fresh dessert wine from a gently sloping single vineyard site in the south of the region, here the old volcanic clay soils and south east facing aspect give richness and depth to the Furmint and Zéta grapes. Selected part bunches of fully botrytised fruit picked at the end of October into November, then pressed without destemming and fermented in stainless steel, and aged for 6 months in old oak casks. A lighter, fresher more fragrant Tokaji with apricot, stone fruits, vanilla, honey and a creamy fresh long finish. Great value, lovely too!
