This elegant mid weight Shiraz has a substantial juicy plum and red currant palate with spice and mineral terroir notes Coming from the three clones of shiraz now grown in the estate’s organic vineyards and the seven small parcels used for this shiraz (making up 93.4% of the wine), supported by additions of Touriga Nacional (3.7%), Mourvèdre (1.3%), Marsanne (1.2%) and Malbec (0.4%).
The wine undergoes a long fermentation in open fermenters with punching down of the skins for colour and extraction, the wine is left on its skins as long as possible before final pressing and running off into500 litre French oak puncheons and stainless-steel tanks where it rests for a further 14 months. Vegan friendly.
