This delicate but enticingly dry organic English Rosé ticks all the boxes
Oxney Estate vineyard situated near Rye in East Sussex, was first planted in 2012 by Kisten Syltevik and Paul Dobson as part of their existing organically farmed estate. They are now the largest estate producer of organic wines in the country.
This pale onion skin pink Rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir which spent a night on its skins for colour then fermented in stainless steel with a partial malolactic fermentation to soften the acidity.
This is attractively crisp and focused with red fruits, raspberry and cranberry notes and mineral, saline notes to the nice dry finish, impressive.
