Description
Domaine Jean Collet owns 40 hectares across the Chablis Appellation, mostly farmed organically or in conversion. Romain Collet is the latest of a long line of Collets whos’ roots here date back to 1792.
Romains Chablis comes from two parcels from Préhy in the south and Villy in the north with an average vine age of 25 years. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented and aged in temperature controlled stainless steel cuves.
Classic Chablis with attractive red apple fruit hints of stone fruit and chalky minerality, drinking well but as with all Chablis this could keep well too.
