Description
Arthur Ostertag has fourteen hectares of vines around the village of Epfig, he farms sustainably, organically and biodynamically, certified since 1998.
Arthur owns 0.60 of a hectare of Clos Mathis all planted with Riesling, a terraced hillside of granite with south-east exposure situated just above the village of Ribeauville near the Grand cru of Kirchberg. The vines average 25 years of age and the wines are fermented and aged on their lees in stainless steel for 12 months.
