Description

Domaines Vinet is a family estate founded in 1948 in the Loire Valley, close to the Atlantic and in the heart of the Nantes vineyard. Gérard Vinet took over the domaine in 1980 and today works alongside Laurence and their son Mathieu, farming 55 hectares in La Haye-Fouassière and Château-Thébaud. Certified HVE and Terra Vitis, the estate focuses on sustainable viticulture and careful plot-by-plot work to express the individuality of its soils. La Quilla comes from 30 hectares of vineyards in and around La Haye-Fouassière, on the slopes of the Sèvre Nantaise. Planted exclusively to Melon de Bourgogne, the vines grow on light, well-draining soils of mica-schist, gneiss and amphibolite, shaping the wine’s mineral precision and sense of place.
