Weingut Eymann are another superb organic winery from the Germany’s Pfalz region. Founded in 1984 in the village of Gönnheim and run by Vincent Torey and his family, his Vineyards are mostly planted with Riesling but Vincent has increased plantings of other varieties such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Gewurztraminer too. Vincent has farmed organically from the outset and biodynamically since 2006

His Mittelhaadt Riesling replaces the Gönnheim Riesling we have sold for many years. This is a blend of wines from Gönnheim, Loess soils, and two other sites in in Wachenheim and Bad Dürkheim, limestone soils, an area known as the Mittelhaadt. With fermentation in old 1200 and 2400 lt wooden vats gaining only texture and not to lose the balance, minerality and freshness of these lovely wines.
