Description
Domaine Les Creisses, run by 3rd generation owner Philippe Chesnelong, is based in the village of Valros in the south of the L’Hérault region of the Languedoc. Philippe is aided by his cousin Louis Mitjavile, son of François Mitjavile the owner of Ch. Tertre Rotebouef in Saint-Emilion, who handles the vinification and aging of the wines.
The very attractive fruit forward Les Creisses is a blend of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon,30% Syrah, 25% Grenache, 5% Carignan, 5% Mourvèdre and 5% Marselan.
On the nose there is vibrant dark plums and berries, the palate is juicy, fresh and balanced by perky acidity. Very attractive.
