Description

Montepeloso is situated to the south of Suvereto in Livorno, coastal Tuscany and has been run by  Fabio Chiarelotto since 1999. He was joined by Swiss entrepreneur Silvio Denz of Ch. Péby-Faugères fame, in 2007, providing welcome funding for their new winery.

The very attractive A Quo is the baby of their range, selected from the younger vines of the estate, mainly Sangiovese 45%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, Malvasia Nero 20% and 15% of others including Marselan and Alicante Buchet. All varietals are vinified separately in tank and aged in a mix of oak cask and stainless steel.
