Description

The Paraduxx Red Blend was first created by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1994 as a break away from their classic ‘mono’ varietals at Duckhorn and Decoy. Blending Zinfandel and Petite Sirah to their Cabernet and Merlot.

Vineyards were purchased to support the project in Yountville in 1994 and Howell Mountain in 1998 and a new winery was completed on the Yountville site in 2005.

The enticing, mouth filling 2019 Paraduxx is a blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Zinfandel 13% Malbec, 10% Merlot, 6% Syrah and 5% Petite Sirah, aged for 18 months in French and Hungarian oak.
