Rebourgeon-Mure Cuvée de Maison Dieu Bourgogne 2022

£31.99

An elegant Pinot from a good grower in Pommard

Description

The Rebourgeon’s are the oldest wine making family in Pommard, possibly in burgundy dating from 1552 when their ancestor first leased vines in Pommard.

The estate run by David Rebourgeon owns vineyards in Pommard, Volnay and Beaune. This very elegant Bourgogne Rouge comes from vines planted in 1953 and 2010 situated just on the far side of the D974 but still technically in Pommard aged in their 17th century cellar. Offering attractive strawberry and plum fruit with some of the classic Pommard structure but drinking well.
