Triennes Rosé 2024

£15.99

This classy, attractively priced Provençal Rosé is pale in colour but bursting with red fruits. Made from principally Cinsault blended with Grenache, Syrah and Merlot.

Description

Domaine Triennes was created in 1990 as a joint venture between Burgundian titans Jacques Seysses (Dom. Dujac) and Aubert de Villaine (DRC) along with Parisien friend Michel Macaux, buying a 46 hectares vineyard in the Coteaux Varois in Provence. A huge amount of work followed in the vineyards which sit between 350 and 400m elevation 30 kilometers from the coast. The wine making is handled by Rémy Laugier overseen by the Seysses family.

We love their classy, attractively priced Rosé, palein colour but bursting with red fruits. Made from principally Cinsault blended with Grenache, Syrah and Merlot, sourced from their own vineyards and contact grown fruit resulting in the Mediterranee IGP classification.

The grapes are picked at night for freshness and give a cold soak on the skins for colour before fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
