Description

Many are unaware of the very attractive red’s produced from the Pinot Noir grape in Sancerre. Firmin Dezat’s offers a pale garnet colour with ripe strawberries and cherries on the nose and a mineral fresh palate with good length. Perfect drinking now maybe with a lighter meal but could be interesting with further ageing.

Firmins vines average 40 years old and are grown on a mix of chalk and limestone. The wine is fermented in stainless steel then aged 9 months in large oak fûts 15% new and the rest one to 6 years old.
