Description
Don’t be put off by the lowly IGP tag, this impressive Viognier comes from two vineyards from two villages known for Condrieu, Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône and Verin, near the famous AC of Château Grillet. The soil is sandy granite and mica giving good depth and minerality and is fermented and aged in used oak casks. A Condrieu in all but name this has classic peach and apricot fruit lovely mineral notes, fresh acidity and nice oak.
