Description

The Waldschütz winery dates to 1784 and is situated in Elsarn, in the north of the Kamptal region with vineyards in both Kamptal and nearby Wagram. Owned and run by Reinhard Waldschütz since 1994, recently his son Markus has started to take over the wine making.

Their excellent Grüner Veltliner comes from highlying vineyards planted on Gneiss primary rock giving good minerality and freshness to the creamy palate with hints of spice and cirus on the finish.
