Studio by Miraval Rosé 2020 IGP Méditerranée
The Studio by Miravel comes from vineyards along the French Rivièra, made from Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Tibouren, a peculiary Provencal red varietal
The Studio by Miravel takes its name from the famous recording studio set up on the Chateau Miravel estate in the 1970's by French Jazz Pianist Jacques Loussier. Which played host to such diverse names as Pink Floyd, for part of the Wall album, Shirley Bassey, Wham!, and AC/DC.
Miravel as we all know is the occasional home of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, their wines are made for them by the Perrins of Chateau Beaucastel fame.
The Studio comes from vineyards along the French Rivièra, made from Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Tibouren, a peculiary Provencal red varietal, picked early in the morning for freshness. After gentle pressing releasing only a delicate colour the Cinsault and Tibouren were fermented in stainless steel and the Grenache and Rolle in tulip shaped concrete fermenters which keeps the lles suspended in the juice for extra depth and flavour.
