Wente Vineyards plummy rich Beyer Ranch Zinfandel comes from two sites in the Livermore Valley and San Francisco bay area.
The Wente family have been making and growing wine in California's Livermore Valley since 1883; this vibrant company is run by 4th generation Eric Wente and 5th Generation Karl Wente as head winemaker, with a host of other Wente's also in the business.
Their plummy rich Beyer Ranch Zinfandel comes from two sites in the Livermore Valley and San Francisco bay area. A comlex blend of 78% Zinfandel, 12% Petite Syrah,6% Petit Verdot, 2% Barbera and 2% Malbec fermented in stainless steel and aged in a mix of stainless steel and neutral oak barrels. We will be moving onto the 2017 vintage shortly.
