Tasting Notes
This comes from several vineyard sites amongst the rolling hills of the Valpolicella region. Made from 30% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 30% Rondinella, 10% Rossignola, Oseleta, Negrara, Dindarella grapes air dried for 4 months then fermented to dryness and aged for about 3 years in Slavonian oak barrel. This is a really impressive classic Amarone with that classic bitter sweet element, that is never sweet as the structure of tannins and spicy fruit and acidity counter balances it.
