Tasting Notes
Chateau Louvie is situated in Saint Laurent des Combes in the south east corner of the region on classic clay and sandy soils planted mostly with Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Owned and made by Christian Veyry, ex winemaker at Ch. Gazin and a busy consultant to many top properties. With an average vine age of 35 years this little property is one to watch and this is already drinking very well, dark plum and fig fruit with chocolate and tobacco notes and rounded tannins.
