Tasting Notes
Ch.Rouget has been owned since 1992 by the Labruyère Family from Moulin â Vent in the Beaujolais, they also own a Champagne House and the well-known Burgundy estate of Jacques Prieur. Today Edouard Labruyère runs the estate with help from top consultant Michel Rolland. The estate is well located in the heart of Pomerol and the vines are now reaching peak age about 40 years of age so this property is back on top form. Made from 85% Merlot and Cabernet Franc the wine is deep and powerful with plenty of weight and richness this is starting to drink now but will cellar very well.
