Tasting Notes
Condrieu is the home of the Viognier grape, planted high on steep granite terraces overlooking the River Rhone. Louis Cheze began estate bottling in the the early 1980's after help and advice from his friend Condrieu guru Georges Vernay, and has not looked back , he always makes makes a superb example; lovely, classic, Honeysuckle and peachy nose with hints of sweet oak. Nice weight and an attractive mouth feel with ripe apricot and peach with balanced oak.
