Tasting Notes
The Les Rochains vineyard is well placed, right next to the famous La Landonne. The vines are old, mostly planted back in 1955. The grapes are completely destemmed. The wine is aged in 25% new, 400 liter barrels for up to 20 months before bottling. Limited to an average of 300 cases per vintage, this is drinking really well with an enticing floral, bacon fat nose and a long rounded palate.
