Tasting Notes
Bierzo, in north western Spain is producing some very interesting wines. The Manium is made from 40-60 year old Mencia vines and is an excellent example of what this region can offer. Fresh plummy fruit with a herbal twist and good acidity and crunchy tannins, makes this a completely different drink to the typical heavier Tempranillo based spaniards. Well worth a try.
