Tasting Notes
Juicy red and black fruits leap from the glass of this really attractive red made from an unusual blend of classic Italian varietals, Nero d'Avola, Sangiovese, Negramaro, Lagrein and a bit of Sagrantino, fermented and aged in stainless steel for freshness, soft tannins and attractive minerality from the red Heathcote soils. Serve chilled if you like. Kim Chalmers parents lead thye way importing Italian Varietals for their nursery business back in 2000 the natural progression to wine making was enevitable with some of the best Italian grape fruit in Australia.
