Tasting Notes
Domaine Agapé was created in 2007 by Vincent Sipp and Isabel Boxler, both descended from a long line of Alsace vignerons, with 8.5 hectares of organically farmed vineyards with an average age of 35 years. The Grand Cru of Schoenenbourg overlooks the town of Riquewihr and is recognised as one of the finest sites for Riesling. The grapes are handpicked, gently pressed and fermented in small stainless steel tanks before further aging in large oak foudres. Delicate, long and bone-dry in style with lovely red apple and mineral notes, this is very impressive.
