Tasting Notes
You will not find any other French wine from 1958 with a score of 95 points from the Wine Advocate. These wines are bullet proof and will age well or drink beautifully, once opened they will hold really well too, so you don't have to drink all at once. “A very harmonious and pure bouquet with scents of orange rind, quince, Earl Grey and a touch of dry tobacco, exuding great clarity. Vivid! The palate is very well defined with quince and marmalade on the entry. There is no sense of heaviness here, but there is a heartwarming, sensual and viscous texture that seduces the senses, with just the right amount of spice enlivening the finish. This is superb. Drink 2017-2035." 95 points, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate
