Tasting Notes
This young estate (first vintage in 2004 is run by Frantz Chagnoleu who worked as cellarmaster for Oliver Merlin in Pouilly Fuisse and his wife Caroline who worked with Dominic Lafon overseeing his convertion to Bio-Dynamics at his vineyards in the Maconnais, so they tick every winemaking box! This single vineyard Viré Clessé is delicious with zinging fruit and careful use of oak, this would give many a more expensive Fuissé a run for their money. Very impressive.
