Description
Alain Jaume has a formidable reputation for his superb Chateauneuf’s,for his Vacqueras he buys in some grapes from this elevated spot in the south of the AC, planted mostly with Grenache with some Syrah, old vine Cinsault and Mouvedre, the wine spends quite a while on its skins to extract colour and tannins and then aged for about 14 months in a mix of tank and 3 year old casks. The ripe, impressive, dark, spicy berry fruit has hints of herbs and liquorice and soft tannins. Drinking now this could keep a few years too.
