Description
Cederberg is situated high up in the Cederberg Mountains 250 kilometres north of Cape Town, at 1036m making it the highest vineyard in the Western Cape.
With a cool continental climate, diverse soil types, free of viruses, Cederberg has been the home to the Nieuwoudt family since 1893. David Nieuwoudt, 5th generation, is one of the top winemakers in South Africa crafting complex elegant pure white wines and fruit driven, beautifully balanced reds.
This attractive cool climate Chenin Blanc offers green apple freshness with hints of pear, melon and herbs and is drinking beautifully.
The grapes are picked in the early morning, after 8 hours of skin contact the must uis pressed and fermented and aged in stainless steel.
