Description
Château Musar was established in 1930 by Gaston Hochar. Inspired by Lebanon’s ancient winemaking history and his travels to Bordeaux, Gaston began planting vineyards in the Bekaa Valley. The winery, now in its third generation aided by winemaker Tarek Sakr.
The very approachable 2018 vintage is a blend of equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan. Exuding ripe, red and black berry fruits and plum notes combined with complex layers of savoury spice and balanced tannins and that classic Musar volatility.
