Description

Domaine Giraudon is based in Chitry-le-Fort is a small village, positioned 12km southwest of the town of Chablis, just outside the Chablis AC. The marl and limestone rich kimmeridgian soils are very similar in composition to their famous neighbour perfect for this lovely vibrant, crisp Bourgogne Aligoté.

The Domaine is run by brother and sister Aurélie and Thibault Giraudon. Their grapes are all hand picked and fermented in stainless steel with their natural yeasts. With fresh green apple fruit on the nose and again on the chalky, mineral, yeasty palate, this is classic Aligoté.
