Description

Domaine Jean Collet owns 40 hectares across the Chablis Appellation, mostly farmed organically or in conversion. Romain Collet is the latest of a long line of Collets whos’ roots here date back to 1792.

Romains 1er Cru Vaillons comes from his many plots there, Épinottes, Minots, Roncières, Châtains and Vaillons the vines average 40 years of age. The grapes are hand picked and after gentle pressing fermented in stainless steel, before being run off into 1/3 Stainless steel tanks, 1/3 in 80hl oak foudres and the remainder into oak barrels.

Lovely Chablis with poise, balance and good length.
