Description
Founded by Thierry Drouin in the 1980’s and based in Vergisson in Pouilly-Fuissé and was joined by his son Charles Edouard in 2012. They farm sustainably without the use of pesticides or chemicals.
Their excellent un-oaked Saint-Véran comes from the slopes to the east of the Pouilly Fuissé village of Vergisson planted at between 150 and 250m on limestone soils with lots of fossilized seashells adding minerality. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for a further 8 months. Lovely richness but balanced by minerality and good acidity.
