Description
Vittorio Navacchia’s Campo di Mezzo Sangiovese is sourced from his two estates, one near Imola and the other from nearer the Adriatic Sea. The Sangiovese grown here is a different clone to the one used in Tuscany, producing smaller berries giving intense colour and aromatics.
Being fermented in stainless steel emphasises the vibrant dark cherry and espresso coffee on the nose and rounded palate with pretty, ripe tannins and a mineral notes to the long finish.
