Description
This stunning Blanc de Blancs comes from the Clos Faubourg de Notre-Dame, a 0.29 hectare monopole belonging to the Fourny family since 1930. Planted with 60 year old Chardonnay vines on classic chalk soils in the Premier Cru village of Vertus.
The wine has its first fermentation and aged 7 months in oak cask before bottling where it spend 9 years on it’s lees before disgorging with a 3g/l dosage of grape sugar.
