Château Gachon Montagne Saint-Emilion 2019

In stock

Ch. Gachon is situated in Montagne Saint-Emilion just north of St-Emilion. Run by Gael Arpin who has 23 hectares of vines mostly on clay and limestone.

The blend is 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, 30% of the resultant wine is aged for 12 months in oak casks the remainder in concrete tanks.

Gael has thoroughly updated his cellar and the result shows through in the quality of this new vintage. Classic plummy fruit with a good mineral core and good length, this is drinking well and would keep a few years too.
