Description

Ch Haut Segottes has been owned by the Meunier Family since 1850 and run since 1972 by Danielle Meunier. The vineyard is made up of 20 parcels totalling making up 9 hectares. Planted with 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc vines, with an average age of 40 years of age. Each parcel is vinified separately and aged in a mix of 225l and 400l French oak barrels 50% new and 50% 1 year old.

Offering good colour in the glass and ample deep plummy fruited nose with hints of figs. Followed by a savory spicy dark fruited palate with balaced structure of oak and rounded tannins. SDrinking well but will age too.
