Description
Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne founded in Ay by Pierre Gosset in 1584 over a 100 years before the first Champagnes, as we know them, existed.
Since 1993 the House has been owned by the Cointreau family who have faithfully preserved the house style, making wines of great freshness and age ability by withholding malolactic fermentation in all their wines. With 140 hectares of vines spread across the very best regions of Champagne enabling them to maintain the quality of this famous old house.
Their elegant dry Grand Millésimé 2016 is a blend of 61% Chardonnay and 31% Pinot Noir sourced from Grand cru and Premier cru villages with just under a decade of aging before adding a low dosage of 4g/l make this a delicious glass.
