Description

Domaine Charton which dates from 1941 and own 11.5 hectares in Mercurey in the Côtes Chalonnaise. The estate is run but Vincent Charton with help from his Father Jean-Pierre.

Their Vieilles Vignes comes from several parcels with an average age of 50 years. The wine is aged in oak for 10 months 25-30% new oak.

The wine is impressive and powerful with attractive fruit and plenty of length
