Description

Architect Alberto Moretti Cuseri boughtsthis old estate near Arezza in the northeast of the Chianti region in the 1950’s. His Son Antonio took on the estate in the 1990’s and started estate bottling. His first release of Crognollo arrived in 1988 and his top wine Oreno followed shortly after.

Oreno a classic Super Tuscan is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit-Verdot. A deep colour in the glass, with a nose of spicy dark plums and cocoa. Full and juicy on the palate with again dark plum and black fruit with hints of chocolate wrapped by balanced tannins and minerality, really long and impressive.
