Description
Vittoria Navacchia’s Thea is a tribute to his mother made from Sangiovese vines planted in their vineyard near Imola in 1968 by his parents. The Sangiovese grown here is a different clone to the one used in Tuscany, producing smaller berries giving intense colour and aromatics. Here dark cherries and espresso coffee notes which refrain on the powerful palate, perky, sappy tannins and minerality give a complex whole. Drinking now but will repay keeping.
