Description
Trentacoste’s impressive Primitivo di Manduria comes from old bush vines giving real depth and length to this warm spicy wine. The gapes were picked in mid-September and given a cool maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks with their natural yeasts then further aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. With classic dark plummy fruit on the nose this opens up beautifully with air to reveal dark chocolate and mineral wrapped core and a really long finish.
