Boroli 1661Langhe Nebbiolo 2021
This attractive fruity easy drinking Langhe Nebbiolo comes from vine to the north of their hilltop winery. Easy on the oak only using large oak cuves this is drinking beautifully.
Baroli estate situated in the heart of the Barolo region near the town of Castiglione Falletto was founded by Silvano Baroli in the 1990’s after a life in publishing, overseeing the building of a new gravity fed winery in 2006, nearby their hilltop farmhouse. Designed by his middle son Guido, it is unusually, sustainably cladded with old oak barrel staves. Silvano’s third son Achille took over the reins in 2012, changing the oak aging regime to a more approachable fruit forward style, the results are impressive.
