Argiano Solengo 2021 IGT Toscana
Argiano’s stunning 16th century villa was built around an older fort by the powerful Pecci family from Sienna. Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano, heir to the famous vermouth business, took over the estate in 1962 re booting the fame of the estate and bringing in oenologist Giacomo Tachis (Sassicaia fame) who would help to produce their famous Supertuscan Solengo. Since 2013 the estate has been run by Bernardino Sani, helped by agronomist Francesco Monari. With determined sustainable methods in the cellar and vineyards along with organic farming the results are excellent and their wines are back to their best.
